Ingredients to make Instant Chana Sattu (Roasted Gram Flour) Laddoos

  • Sattu / Roasted gram flour - 1 cup
  • Finely powdered jaggery (Shakkar) - 2 tablespoon
  • Powdered Green Cardamom seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 1 tablespoon

How to make Instant Chana Sattu (Roasted Gram Flour) Laddoos

  1. In a bowl add chana sattu or roasted gram flour, jaggery, powdered green cardamom seeds and clarified butter.
  2. Gently rub in the shakkar and ghee into the flour (sattu) and mix well so that every ingredient is well incorporated and binds well.
  3. Now roll the mixture into lemon size balls.
  4. Your power packed, delicious, no fuss, gluten free laddoos are ready to eat.
  5. Keep these laddoos in an air tight box . There is not need to refrigerate them.

My Tip:

You can make chana sattu at home beforehand by milling the roasted skinned chana in a grinder or buy it from the local chakki or organic store. You can add raisin or almonds or any other dry fruit of your choice to make them healthier. If you can not find jaggery or are in a rush just substitute honey for jaggery and voila you have another version ready to be gobbled.
