Khoya Sabji

Ingredients to make Khoya Sabji

  • khoya-250gm
  • green peas dana-150 gm
  • makhana-50gm
  • onion -2
  • tomato puree-1/2 cup
  • hung curd-1bsp
  • ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • bay leaves-2
  • cream - 2 tbsp
  • red chili powder-1tsp
  • kasoori methi -1 tsp
  • garam masala-1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  • watermelon seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • green coriander leaves
  • salt

How to make Khoya Sabji

  1. In a pot, boil green peas for 5 mins. Keep aside.
  2. Roast makhana in a pan for 2-3 mins. Remove from heat and keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan , add onion and garlic, stir fry until it becomes brown. Remove from heat, grind to paste in mixer.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaves, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  5. Add onion paste with tomato puree, fry for 2-3 mins.
  6. Mix hung curd with fresh cream and add this into the an .
  7. Soak watermelon seeds and grind it into a paste. Add this to the pan.
  8. Add khoya to it, mix all the ingredients well and stir fry.
  9. Now add in the green peas with two cup water and boil for 5 minutes.
  10. Add kasoori methi& makhana, let it boil another 5 minutes
  11. Season with garam masala and salt.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with nan or tandoori roti

My Tip:

i use waermelon seeds instead of kaju bec it is good for health
