Ingredients to make Rabdi Gulab Jamun

  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon heaped maida
  • 1 teaspoon leveled baking powder
  • 1 small packet cream
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 Cup water
  • 2 litre milk
  • 4 tablespoon milk powder
  • Sugar as per requirement
  • 1 cup chopped dry fruits
  • Oil for Deep frying

How to make Rabdi Gulab Jamun

  1. Rabdi: Boil milk, add milk powder and sugar and let it cook till it is reduced to half. Add dry fruits and keep in the fridge.
  2. Now for gulab Jamun: Take 1 cup milk powder, add maida and baking powder now mix cream and make like a dough. Let it sit for an hour.
  3. Meanwhile make sugar syrup using 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water, boil it and add few strains of saffron.
  4. Make very small balls from the dough and slowly deep fry them. Now put all the gulab jamuns in sugar syrup.
  5. Assembling: Put chilled Rabdi in a transparent bowl and put 5 to 6 hot gulab Jamuns in it.
