This is well known tea time sncks. It makes during festive season too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1. Maida- 500 gm
  2. 2. Ajwain- 2 tsp
  3. 3. Oil for moin and frying
  4. 4. Salt as per taste
  5. 5. Chilled water

Instructions

  1. 1. Arrange all the ingredients.
  2. 2. Put ajwain to the flour.
  3. 3. Now add salt as per taste.
  4. 4. Now give moyan to the flour and mix it well using the plam.
  5. 5. Flour should be bind which indicates that the moyan in the flour is perfect.
  6. 6. Now start kneading the dough using ice chilled water.
  7. 7. Now dough is ready,keep the dough for rest for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Take some dough and make a ball.
  9. 9. Roll it with rolling ping and make a big circle.
  10. 10. After rolling the dough prick all over the circle with fork.
  11. 11. Take a small glass or cap and cut into small circle.
  12. 12. Place all the mathari aside.
  13. 13. Heat the oil and start frying.
  14. 14. Fry them on low flame.
  15. 15. Turn them occasionally.
  16. 16. When they become golden brown take them out.
  17. 17. You can store in airtight container for 10 to 15 days.
  18. 18. Serve hot with Garma garam chai.
