Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Jumbo prawn or Galda chingri 6 pieces
  2. Coconut milk 2 cups
  3. Onion paste half cup
  4. garlic paste one teaspoon
  5. ginger paste one teaspoon
  6. Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Cumin powder one teaspoon
  8. Turmeric powder half teaspoon
  9. Kashmiri red chilli powder half teaspoon
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Sugar as per taste
  12. Green chili 4 pieces
  13. Mustard oil 3 tablespoon
  14. Ghee 1 teaspoon
  15. Fresh cream 2 teaspoon
  16. coconut paste 2 tbsp
  17. 4 cloves, 1 Cinnamon 2 cardamom & 1/4 tsp cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Take jumbo prawns and marinate it with 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt. keep it for 5 to 10 minutes aside.
  2. Heat the pan and add 3 tbsp mustard oil on it. Fry the prawns lightly and keep aside.
  3. Add 4 cloves 3 cardamom one cinnamon some cumin seeds fry for 5 seconds.
  4. Add onion paste, garlic paste Ginger paste fry for 2 minutes in low flame.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon cumin powder half teaspoon turmeric powder half teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder 2 tsp coconut paste and mix it well.
  6. Add half cup water, salt, sugar, green chilli and cook 2 minute in high flame. then add fried prawns and cook for 2 minutes in high flame.
  7. Add coconut milk and cook for 2 minute. Cover it for 5 minutes in low flame.
  8. Add garam masala powder, 1 tbsp ghee, fresh cream and mix it well cover the pan and switch off the flame wait for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with steam rice.
