ABOUT tender coconut curry with zucchini koftas RECIPE

This curry really taste yummy as I have used tender coconut and the coconut water too,the gravy is semi liquid,here I have not used regular water,for thickness of gravy I have added fresh malai,koftas in this gravy is made of zucchini,gram flour,semolina and little cornflour,the taste of fresh coconut and zucchini is really yummy..friends do try this different type of gravy.....and koftas...so friends lets try my innovation...if you try please post your pic in comments

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. ingredients for gravy
  2. 1tender coconut separate water and coconut
  3. 3 onions sliced
  4. 7-8 garlic cloves
  5. 1/2 inch piece of ginger
  6. 2-3 green chili
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1tsp red chili powder
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1tsp dry corriander powder
  11. 1tsp poppy seeds
  12. 1/2 cup fresh corriander leaves
  13. 1tsp aamchur powder
  14. 1tsp lemon juice
  15. 2tsp oil
  16. fresh malai 1tbsp
  17. ingredients for koftas
  18. 1 zucchini peeled and grated
  19. 1/2 bowl gram flour
  20. 1/2 bowl semolina
  21. ginger garlic and green chili paste 2tsp
  22. salt to taste
  23. 2tsp cornflour
  24. 1tsp oil
  25. 50 grams paneer

Instructions

  1. take a pan and add oil
  2. add sliced onions
  3. now add tender coconut
  4. saute for sometime add curry leaves
  5. add green chilles ,garlic and ginger
  6. saute till onions turn little golden
  7. add poppy seeds
  8. add red chili,turmeric and corriander powder
  9. again cook for 5-7 minutes
  10. now add salt and cover with lid
  11. cook for 5-7 minutes
  12. switch off flame ,cool it completely
  13. now add this mixture to grinder jar
  14. add tender coconut water
  15. add fresh corriander leaves
  16. grind to paste
  17. add oil to pan and switch on flame
  18. as soon as oil becomes hot add this gravy
  19. cook on slow flame for 3-4 minutes
  20. add 1tbsp of fresh malai
  21. stir it properly till it incorporates with gravy
  22. add aamchur powder 1tsp
  23. cook for 2minutes more and switch off flame
  24. preparation of zucchini koftas
  25. peel skin of zucchini
  26. grate with the help of grater
  27. add gram flour to zucchini
  28. add ginger garlic and green chili paste
  29. mix and add cornflour
  30. add now add semolina
  31. add salt
  32. grease appe pan with oil
  33. add kofta batter to appe pan
  34. fill all the appes
  35. insert a small piece of paneer in between
  36. make it even with the help of spoon
  37. now fry them till golden from one side
  38. now flip to other side and fry them
  39. fry them golden from both the sides
  40. add koftas to gravy
  41. grate little paneer for garnishing
