Egg Fry

Ingredients to make Egg Fry

  • 6 eggs boiled & peeled
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 2 tsp red Chili powder {adjust as needed}
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs lemon juice {Optional}
  • Few spring onions to sprinkle {Optional}

How to make Egg Fry

  1. Vertically slice eggs as show in the picture. Set aside.
  2. Add oil to a pan and drop in sliced onions. Fry till transparent.
  3. Carefully and gently add sliced eggs without disturbing the yolks.
  4. Season with salt and turmeric powder. Fry on both sides till little blisters start to appear on eggs.
  5. Turn off the flame and sprinkle lemon juice. Garnish with spring onions and serve.
