ABOUT Honey Butter Rolls RECIPE

Honey buttered Golden melt in mouth rolls, these are tender and delicious in taste

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. half cup warm milk
  2. 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  3. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1 egg
  5. 13/4 cups bread flour
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 3 tbsp unsalted melted butter lightly cooled
  8. 2 tbsp honey
  9. 1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional
  10. Topping
  11. 1 tbsp honey
  12. 2.5 tbsp soft butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add flour and make 3 wells. Add sugar, yeast and salt respectively. Gently mix
  2. Add warm milk, beaten egg and butter. Knead to form slightly sticky dough. If it's too difficult to handle then add little more flour but the dough should be soft and slightly sticky
  3. Knead dough for 3-4 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl. Turn the dough so that it coats with oil.
  4. Cover and rest for 2 hours in warm place
  5. Deflate dough gently, you can cover with cling wrap and refrigerate if you want to use it for next day. Divide dough into equal portions
  6. Shape like golf ball and place in greased baking dish leaving gap between balls
  7. Cover with cling wrap and rest for 1 hour in warm place. I have sprinkled little sesame seeds on top. This is optional
  8. It will double and puff up. Preheat oven to 180
  9. Bake for 18-22 minutes until tops are golden brown and edges are cooked
  10. Mix honey and butter in a bowl and brush the rolls while it's still warm
  11. Serve warm with remaining honey butter mix. Refrigerate any leftovers and store for 3-4 days. Always warm up before serving
