About Mango Mattha Recipe

A simple , light healthy and nourishing dessert that I learnt from a dear friend Reem Khan while on the lookout for a simple no grain Monday fast dish. It just hits the spot everytime.

Mango Mattha

Ingredients to make Mango Mattha

  • Thick curd 4 cups
  • sugar 6 tbsp
  • Diced mangoes 3 cups
  • elaichi powder 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp
  • 1/2 cup cold milk if you wish to make a thinner version
  • saffron a few strands soaked in milk

How to make Mango Mattha

  1. Mix all ingredients, reserving some mangoes for topping.
  2. Chill and serve.
