Cookies are always loved by almost everyone with sweet tooth. Its nice buttery flavour loaded with white chocochips and golden raisins give perfect balance to it, with its tartness. Do try it ,you will always love to bake it again and again .

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1/2 cup Butter, at room temperature
  2. 3/4 cup jaggery powder/ brown sugar ( I used 1/2 cup)
  3. 1 flax egg ( 1 tbsp flax seed powder + 3 tbsp warm water)
  4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  5. 3/4 cup wholewheat flour
  6. 1.5 cups instant oats
  7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  9. A pinch of salt
  10. 1/4 cup white chocochips
  11. 1/4 cup golden raisins

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and jaggery till fluffy. Now add flax egg and vanilla essence, beat again to mix well
  2. Combine the sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  3. Stir in the oats and the chopped cranberries and Choco chips. If mixture feels too wet add a spoon of flour and adjust accordingly.
  4. Shape into 2 inch balls for jumbo cookies else can make smaller. Place 2 inches apart on baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake at 180 C for 14-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks.
  6. Enjoy these healthy cum yummy cookies with tea ,give in kids tiffin or pack in your travel kit.
