Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients to make Chocolate Truffles

  • 300g Dark Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup Nuts (Almonds cashews pistachios) toasted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup Brandy(optional)
  • 3 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey

How to make Chocolate Truffles

  1. Melt the 300g chocolate and butter in a microwave.
  2. Heat the cream and honey in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add this into the chocolate mixture.
  3. With a rubber spatula blend this well into a creamy and smooth mixture.
  4. Add in the brandy and combine well.Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Make balls from the truffle batter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Roll the truffle balls in crushed nuts and cocoa powder.
  7. Serve or refrigerate before serving.
