Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  2. Gram flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Milk - 2 cup
  4. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  6. Raisins - 1 tbsp
  7. Crushed almonds - 1 tbsp
  8. Saffron - few strands
  9. Clarified butter - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat clarified butter in a pan.
  2. Roast the wheat flour and gram flour on medium flame until light brown in color and give out the fragrance.
  3. After stiring further for 10 - 15 mins add sugar and milk.
  4. The wheat flour and gram flour absorb the milk.
  5. Stir properly otherwise lumps formed.
  6. The whole mixture cook for 7 - 8 mins.
  7. Add cardamom powder,raisins,crushed almonds and saffron strands.
  8. The halwa is ready to serve.
  9. Garnish with crushed almonds and saffron strands.
