ABOUT Coffee Paneer Peda RECIPE

PEDA is a very traditional sweet, loved by one and all. As you all know NAVRATRAS are here. So how can one not make some mouth melting sweets for GODDESS DURGA. Here I've given a twist to the traditional pedas by adding some coffee to it, which gave amazing flavours. Give it a try and enjoy.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup- chenna ( cottage cheese)
  2. 1/2 cup - powdered sugar
  3. 1 tbsp - boiled milk
  4. 1/4 tsp - powdered cardamom
  5. 1/4 tsp - coffee
  6. Pistachio finely crushed for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Wrap the chena with a muslin cloth and leave it for an hour to strain water from it.
  2. Knead the chenna for 5-7 mins,like a dough until it becomes smooth. Add the sugar and cardamom and knead for 2 mins more.
  3. Heat a pan, add this dough and cook for 5 mins over low flame. Remove from heat.
  4. Mix milk with coffee in a small bowl. Add this mixture to the dough and mix well.
  5. Form small balls and press it lightly into Peda shape.
  6. Garnish with pistachio.
  7. Enjoy!
