About Masala Paneer Recipe

Homemade cottage cheese with a twist of spices and coriander leaves!

Masala Paneer

Ingredients to make Masala Paneer

  • 1 litre Whole Milk
  • 2 tsp vinegar/lemon juice
  • A handful of chopped coriander
  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • salt as needed

How to make Masala Paneer

  1. Heat whole milk in a pot and bring to boil.
  2. Add vinegar/ lemon juice, salt, coriander leaves, chilly flakes and turmeric powder.
  3. Simmer and let the milk curdle.Once the milk starts curdling, stir slowly.
  4. Strain and tie the paneer in a muslin cloth. Put it under running water for a minute.
  5. Squeeze and let it sit under heavy weight (place a heavy object on top of wrapped paneer) for 4-5 hours.
  6. Cut into cubes and enjoy!
