Ingredients to make Chocolate cups with white chocolate mousse

  • Plain chocolate chips - 100 gms
  • White chocolate chips - 1 cup
  • Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
  • Egg whites - 2
  • Icing Sugar - 2 tbsp

How to make Chocolate cups with white chocolate mousse

  1. To make the chocolate cups, melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Pour little liquid chocolate into silicone muffin moulds, roll it and remove the extra. Refrigerate for 30 minutes so that they harden.
  2. To make the white chocolate mousse, melt the white chocolate using a double boiler. Keep aside
  3. Now whisk the egg whites to form stiff peaks. Whisk the cream with icing sugar in a separate bowl.
  4. Now fold in the melted chocolate into the cream, and add the egg whites slowly. Pour this mixture into the cold chocolate moulds. Refrigerate for at least 3 hrs and then serve.
  5. To Make the chocolate swirls, Melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Cool it for a few seconds.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag or plastic pouch, cut the end with a scissor. Then pipe it on a grease proof paper in swirling action.
  7. Cool this in he fridge for 15 minutes. Then break it and decorate the cups with the swirls.
