Fried pizza pockets

Ingredients to make Fried pizza pockets

  • For pizza dough
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1 spoon sugar
  • 1 spoon dry active yeast
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm milk
  • 1/2 spoon salt
  • 2 spoon oil
  • Lukewarm water for kneading
  • For filling
  • 100 gram cottage cheese
  • 50 gram boiled corn
  • 1 spoon butter
  • 3 cubes amul cheese
  • 1/4 spoon water
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 carrot finely chopped
  • 1 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 spoon tomato sauce
  • 1 spoon pizza seasoning
  • Refined oil

How to make Fried pizza pockets

  1. For dough Mix sugar and yeast in lukewarm milk and cover for 10 minutes
  2. Add salt and oil in refined flour and mix well
  3. Add activated yeast and knead into a soft dough by adding lukewarm water
  4. Punch the dough for 10 minutes and cover with a plastic wrap
  5. Keep in a warm place for 1 hour
  6. For filling heat 1 spoon oil in a wok and saute onions
  7. Add carrot and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes
  8. Cut cottage cheese in small cubes
  9. Add cottage cheese and boiled corn in cooked veggies
  10. Add butter and other ingredients
  11. Mix well and switch off the flame
  12. Grate cheese over the filling when it is on room temperature and mix well
  13. When the dough arise double in size punch again
  14. Devide the dough in 8 parts and roll into a thick circle
  15. Put 1 spoon cheese filling in between the circle and seal by applying water on openings
  16. Seal the edges with fork
  17. Prick pizza pockets with fork gently do that it doesn't open while frying
  18. Deep fry in hot oil.
  19. Serve hot with sauce
