ABOUT Methi Mutter Malai RECIPE

A tasty combination of fenugreek leaves and green peas which is highly filled with iron . it's cooked in a rich creamy gravy flavoured with mild Indian spices.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3/4 cup green peas
  2. 1/2 cup onion chopped
  3. 11/2 cup fenugreek leaves
  4. 5 tbsp Butter
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tbsp red chilli paste
  8. 1 tbsp amchur powder
  9. 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  10. salt to taste
  11. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  12. 1 or 2 pieces of butter

Instructions

  1. Blanch methi leaves in the boiling water and refresh with the running cold water .
  2. Heat a butter and oil in a pan . add ginger garlic paste and continue to sauté for a minute more .
  3. Add chopped onions and cook till they are translucent. add methi leaves and sauté.
  4. Add red chilli powder and green peas. cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add amchur powder, cinnamon powder and salt mix well cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Finish with cream. add butter pieces serve hot .
