Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients to make Chicken Nuggets

  • 250-300g boneless bite-size chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper powder to taste
  • Oil for Deep frying

How to make Chicken Nuggets

  1. Cut chicken in chunks. Wash, drain and pat dry chicken with clean kitchen towel.
  2. Apply salt and black pepper powder to chicken and leave aside for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk eggs and season them with very little salt. Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper powder with the flour.
  4. Heat oil in large wok. Dip the chicken in flour and shake of excess.
  5. Next dip them in egg and with the help of fork lift them up so excess egg drips off.
  6. Roll them back in flour, shake off excess, and then roll them in breadcrumbs.
  7. Deep fry chicken without overcrowding them in wok till golden on both sides.

My Tip:

Quantity of flour and breadcrumbs can be adjusted as per need. Panko breadcrumbs as more coarse than regular breadcrumbs. You can use any type of breadcrumbs available. You could even add some Italian herbs to breadcrumbs for that extra flavour.
