Ingredients to make fat free matar paneer palak

  • 250 gm paneer(low fat) cubed
  • 200 gm green peas
  • 200 gm chopped tomatoes
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 inch piece of ginger grated
  • 4 shallots or baby onions chopped
  • 1/4 tsp aromatic garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 300 gm spinach chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk

How to make fat free matar paneer palak

  1. Blend the tomatoes, ginger, garlic, garam masala and salt together in a blender till smooth.
  2. Transfer the puree to a pan, add the green peas, the cubed paneer and 1/2 cup milk and cover the pan. Simmer till the peas get cooked and paneer gets soft too.
  3. Adjust seasoning, add the chopped spinach and simmer till the spinach wilts.
  4. Serve hot with rotis or naans.
My Tip: Add some paprika or hot chilly powder if you want this curry a little hot.
