Fish stuffed in puff pastry sheet roll and baked .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. all purpose flour 1cup
  2. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Salt as required
  4. Butter 200g
  5. Fish 160g (bone less any fish of your choice here I used Basa fish)
  6. Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
  7. Salt as required
  8. Chopped onion 1 table spoon
  9. Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon spoon
  10. Red cilli powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Nutmeg powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Chopped coriander 1 table spoon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl take all purpose flour and baking powder and little salt mix all add water and make a dough.
  2. Knead the dough add 40g of butter and knead it well. Then cover with cooking towel and leave for 40 minutes
  3. In between Boil fish with little salt and lemon juice and mash it.
  4. Heat oil add chopped onion and fry,Add ginger garlic paste red cilli powder,salt and Chopped coriander fry until fried smell appears
  5. Add mashed fish cook it for about 6 minutes then add nutmeg powder mix. Remove from the heat . Stuffing is ready.
  6. Next After 40 minutes roll the dough with a rolling pin and spread a layer of butter on it, fold it and cover again . Leave for 40 minutes. Repeat the process 3 - 4 times
  7. Then roll the dough and cut into 4 portions
  8. Take a portion divide it in two portions and roll that separately. Make two sheets.
  9. Spread butter on a sheet
  10. Place the other sheet on it and cut the sides and make a rectangle
  11. Spread little butter on it
  12. Place fish stuffing in middle of the sheet
  13. Cut the sides and join one by one on the middle
  14. Brush with little butter
  15. Bake it for about 25 minutes in preheated oven at 200°C
  16. Use baking sheet or a greased baking tray.
  17. Serve hot with mustard sauce or any other deep of your choice
