ABOUT Penne Ala Vodka RECIPE

Pasta Tossed with Tomatoes, Vodka, cream and cheese. Its a surefire success and the crowd would simply love it. The Vodka is for enhancing the taste, the alcohol burns out in the cooking process.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Penne Pasta 500 Gms
  2. 100 gms Tomato Puree
  3. 1 tsp chili flakes
  4. 1/2 cup vodka
  5. 1 Small onion chopped very fine
  6. 3/4 cup fresh cream
  7. 1 tbsp olive oil
  8. 4 to 5- pods garlic chopped
  9. 1 tbsp Butter
  10. 3-4 Tbsp Freshly grated Parmesan
  11. salt as per taste
  12. pepper as needed
  13. Broccoli - for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil Penne pasta and spread in a large plate and toss some Olive oil if needed.
  2. In a Pan, heat Olive oil and Butter over low to medium heat.
  3. Add the tomato puree and cook till you get a thick consistency.
  4. Keep stirring all the time.
  5. Add Vodka, chilli flakes and cream.
  6. Allow to boil slowly till it reaches a thick saucy consistency.
  7. Add salt and pepper as needed and stir.
  8. Once done spread it on the pasta.
  9. Add some Brocolli for garnish and cover the Pan for 30 secs.
  10. Add some grated Parmesan cheese.
  11. Enjoy the beauty of the Penne Ala Vodka before eating all of it.
