ABOUT Spinach Cottage cheese bake RECIPE

A bland but tasty spinach cottage cheese dressed in white sauce topped with cheese ,moderately seasoned to give it a continental taste n look.Optional though to bake if crusty brown cheese is preferred. Else ready to eat as is with breads of choice. Can be made for each person in smaller bowls and served or in a larger for all together.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 bunches Spinach fresh leaves
  2. 100 gms Paneer fresh n creamy
  3. 2 cubes cheese
  4. Salt pepper garlic powder or crushed garlic
  5. White pasta sauce -use ready to use or make your white sauce as prefered
  6. 1 tbsp nutralite butter fat free
  7. If making sauce you need:
  8. 1 tsp butter
  9. 2 tbsp Cornflour
  10. Salt pepper
  11. Finecut garlic
  12. 2 cups Milk

Instructions

  1. Wash Boil the spinach well with salt
  2. Remove cool and drain water out of spinach and grind to fine paste
  3. Now cut box pieces of cottage cheese/paneer kp aside
  4. Make white sauce :-
  5. Melt 1 tsp butter in pan,stir in garlic cut fine n brown it a little now mix the corn flour in cold milk well n pour in stirring well to avoid lumps
  6. Sprinkle salt nd pepper n let ut cook 10 min as it thickens remove off the flame
  7. Now take a transparent bowl , spread spinach paste pour sum white sauce over it and place Paneer cubes on this lightly
  8. Sprinkle grated cheese on the Paneer and serve with garlic bread or butter croissant or boiled rice too
  9. Option to bake in preheated oven @ 200 degrees for ten min to brown the cheese and make it crusty
