Twisted Stuffed Rolls

Ingredients to make Twisted Stuffed Rolls

  • For bread:
  • All purpose flour (maida) 1 cup
  • Dry yeast 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 / 4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • For Filling
  • Onions 2medium
  • Tomatoes 2 medium
  • Ginger - garlic paste 1tsp
  • Capsicum 1
  • Oil 1tbsp
  • Red chilly powder 1/2tsp
  • Green chilly sauce 1tsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Mozzarella cheese 5 tbsp

How to make Twisted Stuffed Rolls

  1. Mix dry yeast, warm water and sugar and keep it for half an hour.
  2. Now knead the dough with all purpose flour, salt, oil, black pepper powder and yeast mixture. Keep it aside for 1 hour.
  3. Take a thick bottom pan, heat oil and then add finely chopped onions. Saute it till light brown in colour. Now add finely chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook covered till oil separates.
  4. Now add tomato ketchup, green chilly sauce, red chilly powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Turn off the stove, add finely chopped capsicum and mix well.
  6. Now divide the dough into 6 portions. Roll all the portions into rectangular sheets. Cut the edges to give perfect shape. All the sheets should be of same size.
  7. Take one sheet, spread filling on it . Now spread grated mozzarella cheese over it.
  8. Keep second sheet on it, again spread filling first and then mozzarella cheese.
  9. Now keep the third sheet on it and cut the strips out of it. Twist them to give the twisted shape.
  10. Similarly make other strips.
  11. Place all the strips on greesed baking tray. Brush them with melted butter and bake them in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 170 degree.
  12. Arrange them on a serving plate and serve hot.
