Crunchy outside and soft inside flavoured potatoes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Big size potatoes 3
  2. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  3. Room temperature butter 2 tbsp
  4. Garlic finely chopped 2
  5. Mix herbs 1/2 tsp
  6. Red Chilli flakes 3/4 tsp
  7. Fresh or dry parsley 1 tsp
  8. Salt and pepper to taste
  9. Grated cheese 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Washed and dry 3 big size potato with towel and keep dry. Cut the potatoes with sharp knife into thin slices (see the picture for reference) until you reach the base that is 80 %
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. Drizzle some olive oil to the cut potatoes and bake them for 30 minutes in a baking tray covered with a sheet of aluminium foil.
  3. Mean while in a bowl add room temperature butter, add finely chopped garlic or powdered garlic.
  4. Mixed herbs, red chilli flakes and/or dry or fresh parsley along with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add in some grated cheese, just combine everything together and keep aside.
  6. Take out the potatoes from oven once done. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and gently apply the butter cheese herbs mixture with a brush.
  7. Apply in each and every layer of potatoes so that the aroma of flavours enhance the taste.
  8. Keep it in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until cheese melts. Serve with some spicy mayo.
