Moongdal Halwa is indian traditional recipe which is made on every festival or an evrery occation

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Moong dal soaked 100gm
  2. Sugar as per taste
  3. Mawa 100gm
  4. Cardemon powder 1tsp
  5. Desi ghee 100-150gm
  6. Water as required/ 2bowls
  7. Chopped cashew almond and pistacheo..as per choice
  8. Silver sheet (vark) optional

Instructions

  1. First wash and soak moong dal for 2hours and grind it a smooth paste.chopped all the dryfruits and .get all the indgridients ready...i use same bowl for all indgridients here
  2. In a non stic pan add ghee and moongdal paste and roast it on low mediuum flame
  3. Roast it for 40-45min till it sperats ghee after roasting
  4. Now shift this raosted dal in another pan ...to cool down for some time ..in same nonstic pan add 1spoon ghee and roast mawa for 4-5min and then add it in roasted dal
  5. In a pan Add one bowl sugar and two bowl water and boil it till sugar disolve
  6. When sugar disolve add thi chasni in to dal and mawa mixture and cook for more 5min till it git thicken at this time add cardemon powder nd chopped dry fruits in it
  7. Moongdal hlwa is ready to serve u can garnish it with silver sheet while serving..its ootinal..serve hot
