Haryali moti biryani with raita is a combination of green paste that is coriander, mint leaves, green chillies to give a green color.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup Basmati Rice
  2. 1 carrot cut long pieces
  3. 4 to 5 beans cut long pieces
  4. 1/2 cup green peas
  5. 1 cup green paste (Coriander, Mint leaves, Green chillies)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 Elachi
  8. 1 Cinnamon stick
  9. 2 Lavang
  10. 2 Onions chopped
  11. 2 Tomatoes chopped
  12. 1 big slab of Cottage cheese
  13. 1 tbsp Cornflour
  14. A pinch of garam masala powder
  15. Oil for frying
  16. Coriander for garnish
  17. 1 tbsp Oil
  18. 1 cup curd/yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a cooker add oil, fry elaichi, cinnamon stick, lavang and add onion to fry till light pink. Next add in the chopped vegetables.
  2. Add the green paste, fry well till the oil separates.
  3. Add the garam masala powder, salt, rice, water and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
  4. For moti : In a bowl add mashed paneer, pinch of garam masala powder, cornflour mix well and then make a shape of a ball.
  5. Deep fry it. Add silver varak on it.
  6. For Raita: Beat the curds, add salt, green paste , add chopped tomatoes, onion, and garnish with coriander chopped.
