Haryali Moti biryani with haryali raita

Ingredients to make Haryali Moti biryani with haryali raita

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 1 carrot cut long pieces
  • 4 to 5 beans cut long pieces
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 cup green paste (Coriander, Mint leaves, green chillies)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Elachi
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 lavang
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 big slab of cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • A pinch of garam masala powder
  • oil for frying
  • coriander for garnish
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup curd/yogurt

How to make Haryali Moti biryani with haryali raita

  1. In a cooker add oil, fry elaichi, cinnamon stick, lavang and add onion to fry till light pink. Next add in the chopped vegetables.
  2. Add the green paste, fry well till the oil separates.
  3. Add the garam masala powder, salt, rice, water and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
  4. For moti : In a bowl add mashed paneer, pinch of garam masala powder, cornflour mix well and then make a shape of a ball.
  5. Deep fry it. Add silver varak on it.
  6. For Raita: Beat the curds, add salt, green paste , add chopped tomatoes, onion, and garnish with coriander chopped.
