Ingredients to make Fast recipe Aalu stuffing Sabudana Aapam

  • 2 cup samay rice ya bhagar
  • 1 cup sabudana
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 pinches of baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger and green chilli paste
  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 2 tsp roasted peanuts, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste

How to make Fast recipe Aalu stuffing Sabudana Aapam

  1. Soak the samak rice and sabudana separately overnight.
  2. Next day, grind it smoothly with curds and water to make the batter like idli batter. Keep it aside for fermentation for 3 hours.
  3. Then take this batter, add salt, green chilli, ginger paste and mix it well. Also add the soda and mix it neatly.
  4. Then smash the boiled potatoes and mix the red chilli powder, crushed peanuts with 1 tsp of oil and mix it well. Now the stuffing is ready.
  5. Take an aapam pan, put in oil and keep it on a high flame. Put in 1 tsp of batter then put in the aalu stuffing then put in 1 tsp of butter and keep a lid on it.
  6. Keep the heat on low for 5 mins. Check it as it will become golden brown then turn it and roast the other side as well.
  7. It is ready to be eaten and served with curd.
