About Aloo Tikki Recipe

Favourite street food. Chatpata snacks or can use with chole and chaat.

Aloo Tikki

Ingredients to make Aloo Tikki

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes- 4
  • Bread crumbs 1cup
  • Green chilli and ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  • garlic paste 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Roasted peanuts powder half cup
  • sugar salt n lemon juice as account of ur taste
  • Rosted coriander seeds 1teaspoon
  • sesame seeds 2 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander half cup
  • Chat masala half teaspoon
  • garam masala half teaspoon
  • oil for shallow fry

How to make Aloo Tikki

  1. In a bowl add mashed potatoes, salt, sugar, lemon juice, chat masala and garam masala.
  2. Now add chilli garlic and ginger paste along with half cup of bread crumbs . Keep aside a half cup .
  3. Add roasted peanut powder, coriander seeds and sesame seeds too.
  4. In last add chopped fresh coriander leaves and mix all together. Make a dough.
  5. Now make a tikki from aloo dough,take bread crumbs n roll in it. Then shallow fry in a pan with little oil till they became a golden brown.
  6. Serve with curd and chatni or ketchup.
