Ingredients to make Crispy Onion Rings

  • Onions- 2 large
  • Maida- 8 tbsp.
  • Corn Flour- 3 tbsp.
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp.
  • Red Chilli Powder- 1/4 tsp.
  • Red Chilli Flakes- 1 tsp.
  • Oregano(Pizza Seasoning)- 1-1.5 tsp.
  • Baking Soda- 1/3 tsp.
  • Bread Slices- 3-4
  • Garlic- 4-5 pieces (grate them) 12. Oil- to fry

How to make Crispy Onion Rings

  1. Take your bread slices and grind them coarsely in a grinder to form coarse bread crumbs.
  2. Take a big bowl and take maida in it. Add the corn flour, turmeric powder, oregano, chili flakes, red chili powder, baking soda, 2 tbsp. bread crumbs and the grated/chopped garlic.
  3. Slowly add some water to make a thick paste( little bit thicker than pakoda batter). Keep it aside.
  4. Take your onions, remove the top two layers of your onion and then cut them like discs. Take out rings from the disc carefully.
  5. Heat oil in a wok, dip your onion rings in the batter and coat with bread crumbs and fry in low-medium flame until they turn brown in color.
  6. Your crispy onion rings are ready!
