ABOUT Mango & Roast Almonds Ice cream RECIPE

No egg, no condensed milk, easy and quick to make.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Heavy Cream - I used Malai collected from milk at home - 1 cup
  2. Mango Pulp - One big mango or two small mangoes
  3. Roast Almonds - 10 to 12
  4. Sugar - as per taste

Instructions

  1. Blend mango pulp and sugar in a blender till smooth. Keep aside.
  2. Chop roast almonds. Keep aside.
  3. Whip heavy cream using a beater attachment till soft peaks. Don't overbeat or it will turn into butter.
  4. Fold in mango puree and chopped nuts into the whipped cream slowly using a spatula
  5. Pour the mixture into a bowl and put it in the freezer.
  6. After an hour or so after it starts setting, take it out in a large bowl and beat again till smooth. (This will remove ice crystals if any).
  7. Pour it back into the bowl and put it in the freezer for about 5 to 6 hours till it sets.
