Copycat Mac Fish-O-Fillet

Ingredients to make Copycat Mac Fish-O-Fillet

  • 6 Fish boneless fillets
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Seasoned flour
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs or plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 3 Burger Buns
  • Tartar sauce as per need
  • 3 cheese slices

How to make Copycat Mac Fish-O-Fillet

  1. Marinate Fish fillets with salt, lemon juice and pepper for 15-20 mins.
  2. Beat 1 egg with little milk.
  3. Dip fish in flour. Shake off excess flour. Dip in egg and roll it in breadcrumbs. Fry in medium hot oil in batches till light golden both sides (3--4 mins each side).
  4. Place cheese on one side of bun and heat it on hot skillet till cheese just softens. Place fish fillets and tartar sauce. Cover with other piece of bun.

My Tip:

Season flour (maida) with salt, pepper, paprika, herbs or any other seasonings according to choice and flavor.
