This one is a good alternative to regular boring chapatis… Its always been on my mind to fashion leftover chappathis from dinner in to chowmien the next day

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 5 to 6 leftover roti
  2. 1 small capsicum
  3. 1 carrot
  4. 1 cup shared cabbage
  5. 4 to 5 garlic cloves
  6. 4 Green chilli
  7. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  8. 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  9. 1 tsp vinegar
  10. 1 tsp Salt
  11. 1 tsp black papper
  12. 1 Onion
  13. 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Cut roti or chapati into thin strips using a sharp knife or using scissors. Keep aside
  2. Chop the all veggies lengthwise and set aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onions stir fry for 2 minutes. 
  4. Add all the veggies and sauté for 3-4 minutes. 
  5. Add soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, pepper powder, vinegar, sugar and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute. 
  6. Add the cut strips of roti or chapati . 
  7. Mix and toss well until the roti strips are coated evenly with sauces and vegetables. 
  8. Serve hot.
