Ingredients to make Soya Chocolate Cupcakes

  • 100 gm. butter
  • 1 cup maida
  • 100 gm. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cup soya granules
  • 1/2 cup grated dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

How to make Soya Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Take a saucepan and water and add soya granules and boil them for about 5 minutes.
  3. Then strain them and run through cold water 3-4 times and keep it aside.
  4. Cream the butter and powdered sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon till light and fluffy.
  5. Melt the dark chocolate in a double bowler and keep it aside as soon as it melts.
  6. Mix melted dark chocolate in the butter and powdered sugar mixture. Mix well.
  7. In other bowl, sift maida, baking powder, and cinnamon powder into the bowl and mix.
  8. Add soya granules and then add milk and check and adjust the consistency.
  9. If the batter is still thick add a little milk and mix.
  10. Now, add chocolate butter mixture and cocoa powder and mix it well.
  11. Pour this batter into the greased moulds or paper cups.
  12. Tap the moulds lightly to level the batter.
  13. Bake for thirty minutes. Garnish with toffees and serve.
