Aalu Pakode

Ingredients to make Aalu Pakode

  • 4 -5 medium size potatoes
  • Gram flour 2 cups
  • 1 table spoon whole cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon green chill paste
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Handful of chopped coriander (optional)
  • Water for making thick paste

How to make Aalu Pakode

  1. Add all ingredients except potatoes.
  2. Make a thick paste like batter.
  3. Cut potatoes in thin round slices.
  4. Mix it with batter.
  5. Deep fry the batter coated potato pieces. Drain the oil on a kitchen paper.
