ABOUT Kheema Stuffed Baked Potatoes RECIPE

A special Potato dressed and stuffed to Kill.Chicken kheema cooked and stuffed in the potato laid in saucy and tangy tomato base and baked with a sprinkle of cheese to complete the look and taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 medium sized Potatoes
  2. 5 medium size tomatoes
  3. Half a cup cooked kheema dry
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 2 tblspn oil
  6. Coriander to garnish
  7. For Kheema :-
  8. 200gms Chicken Kheema
  9. Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  10. Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Peel potatoes and scoop out center shown in pic.
  2. Wash well, keep the scooped out pieces aside too.
  3. Grate or grind tomatoes and keep aside
  4. Simultaneously get your kheema ready put to pressure cook or cook on low flame in a covered pot.
  5. Add ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, garam masala to the kheema while cooking itself.
  6. Once kheema's done cool and stuff slowly in the scooped out potatoes.
  7. Take a shallow pan add 1 tsp oil and crushed garlic, saute and add tomatoes ground or grated.
  8. To the tomato puree add salt, red chilli powder the potato pieces off the scooped potato and slowly lay the stuffed potatoes, cover cook on slow for about ten minutes.
  9. As the gravy dries up a little remove the potatoes and gravy carefully in a baking tray greased with oil as shown in pic too.
  10. Grate one or two cheese cubes or mozzarella cheese.
  11. Preheat oven or OTG at 180 degrees keep in the oven for 20 min on 200 degrees, check browning of cheese and put in oven.
  12. Leave in hot oven for 5 minx Remove and garnish with coriander.
  13. Enjoy as a starter or in a bun with salad leaves etc or with dinner as a side dish.
