Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 red chillies
  2. Small Piece of Tamarind
  3. 1 tablespoon chana dal
  4. 1 tablespoon urad dal
  5. 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  6. curry leaves
  7. Half cup grated coconut
  8. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  9. 1 teaspoon pepper
  10. 10 small onions
  11. 2 tomatoes
  12. bunch of thoothuvalai leaves
  13. 5 garlic cloves
  14. One piece of ginger

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tablespoon of oil in pan and add chana dal, urad dal, coriander seeds and saute it for a minute.
  2. Add red chillies
  3. It's time to add small onions and saute for 2 mins
  4. Add 2 tomatoes.
  5. Once added ingredients are cooked well add thoothuvalai leaves into it and saute it for 3mins
  6. Turn off the stove and add garlic , ginger, cumin seeds, pepper, tamarind.
  7. Allow it to cool for few mins
  8. Add required amount of salt, coconut and curry leaves into it and grind to fine paste (add water if required)
