About Aloo pattice Recipe

A ranzan regular at my place made wid boiled potatoes and eggs

Aloo pattice

Ingredients to make Aloo pattice

  • Baby potatoes 9(boiled)
  • eggs 4 (boiled) + 1for frying
  • green chillies finely chopped 6 - 8 or as per taste
  • coriander leaves handful
  • salt as per taste
  • oil fir frying

How to make Aloo pattice

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes nicely
  2. Add green chilly coriander leaves and salt. Mix well
  3. Hard boil the eggs and cut them into half
  4. You can discard the yellow part ( i prefer discarding it)
  5. Now take a ball size piece of the potato mix press it with the palm and keep the cut egg in it and seal it from all sides
  6. Prepare all the pattice in the same way
  7. New beat 1 egg with a little salt
  8. Coat the pattice with egg and shallow fry in a pan or tawa until golden from both the sides
  9. Serve hot wid tomato ketchup or mint chutney
