These tikki are cook from leftover Moongdal khichdi and corn. You can use freshly cooked Khichdi too. They are delicious and crispy in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup cooked MoongDal Khichdi
  2. 1/4 cup corn boiled and chrushed
  3. 3 tbp corn Flour
  4. 1/4 cup paneer grated
  5. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  6. 1 potato boiled and mashed
  7. 1 Carrot grated
  8. 1 capsicum grated
  9. 1 spoon ginger and green chilli finally chopped
  10. 1 tsp black pepper
  11. 1/2 tsp Red Chilly powder
  12. 1 tsp chat masala
  13. Salt as needed
  14. Oil for shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Take cooked MoongDal Khichdi in a mixer jar and grind it.
  2. After that take boiled corn in the mixture jar and grind it.
  3. In a big bowl add khichdi, corn and all ingredients mentioned.
  4. Mix well it and make this mixture like the daugh and keep it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  5. Now make lemon sized balls of the mixture, then slightly flatten it like tikki.
  6. Heat oil in a nonstick pan then tikki shallow fry both the sides until they become golden brown and crispy on the low flame.
  7. Now Tikki Place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with sauce or any chutney.
