ABOUT Sticky rice with fish ball RECIPE

We very often have some fried fish left in the corner of our refrigerator. Because fried fish are best tasted when serve immediately. And we dont like to have leftover fry fish . But with some little effort we can make these unwanted fry fish to some delicious appealing beautiful fish balls. And with some sticky rice they taste heavenly.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Leftover fried fish 5-6 pieces
  2. Boiled potato medium sized 1
  3. Chopped onion 1
  4. Chopped fresh red chilli 1 or 2
  5. Chopped coriander leaves 1/4 th cup
  6. Toasted white sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  7. Toasted black sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  8. Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Cooked sticky rice 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Take 5-6 pieces fried fish of any variety.
  2. Take a boiled potato, chopped onion, chopped chilli and chopped coriander.
  3. As I took rahu fish I crumbled the fish pieces & carefully discarded the bones .
  4. Smash the potato, add some chilli flakes and salt.
  5. Mix to incorporate everything well.
  6. Make small lime size balls from the mixture.
  7. Spread white and black sesame seeds in a plate.
  8. Roll each fish ball in the sesame seeds mixture.
  9. Take a little portion of cooked sticky rice. Make patty and small cavity with the help of your greased hand and fingers.
  10. Take a prepared fish ball and keep in the cavity.
  11. Keep in a serving dish.
  12. Like this make other fish balls with sticky rice and arrange in a serving dish.
  13. Delicious filling sticky rice fish balls are really to enjoy. You can serve them as snack or side dish.
