Ingredients to make Healthy Pao bhaji

  • Pao
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped beans
  • 1 cup chopped capsicum
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped bottle guard (Ghia/ lauki)
  • 1 cup chopped kaddu/petha
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1 chopped green chilli (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp pao bhaji masala
  • 1/2 amchoor powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Cup water
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp salted butter

How to make Healthy Pao bhaji

  1. Pressure cook all the chopped veggies. Add little salt and water. Get it boil.
  2. Take a wok. Pour oil. Add ginger garlic saute it.
  3. Add chopped onions. Saute it till it gets pinkish.
  4. Add chopped green chilli.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes. Stir properly.
  6. Add pao bhaji masala red chilli powder and salt. Saute it. Cook for a minute.
  7. Add boiled veggies
  8. Mix it properly. Add water.
  9. Cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Add amchoor powder and lemon juice.
  11. Mix properly. Add more water if required.
  12. Add butter and sprinkle coriander leaves
  13. Serve with pao
