Ingredients to make Salty sweet cabbage.

  • Cabbage - 1/2 kg chopped in small pieces
  • Salt
  • Suger 2 tbsp
  • Milk 4 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Panchphoron 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
  • oil
  • Ghee 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf 2
  • Green Chilli 4
  • Cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Green cardamon 2
  • Black cardamon 2
  • Green peas - 1 small bowl
  • Potato chopped - 1 small bowl

How to make Salty sweet cabbage.

  1. Take a pan and heat oil. Add panchforan, dry red chilli and bay leaf.
  2. Now add peas and potato. Add salt and turmeric powder and stir
  3. Cover the pan in medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes
  4. Now add the chopped cabbage.
  5. Mix properly and again cover the pan for 3 to 4 minutes
  6. When the cabbage softens a bit add ginger paste, jeera powder, cinnamon powder and milk.
  7. Stir a little and cover till the cabbage is properly cooked.
  8. Remove the pan from gas
  9. Take a different pan
  10. Add ghee, cumin seed and green chilli. Now add the cabbage and sugar
  11. Now mix properly for few minutes and remove from flame
