This is very easy snack which my mother used to make for us in a jiffy .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 6 to 8, made into crumbs.
  2. Eggs 2 ( whisked with 1/2 tsp of salt.)
  3. Onions 3 medium sized , chopped into medium slices
  4. Peanuts a handful.
  5. Shelled peas - a handful.
  6. Green chillies -3-4 chopped.
  7. Tomato sauce/ketchup 3 tbsp.
  8. Refined oil 3 tbsp.
  9. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Pulse the bread slices to make them into crumbs.
  2. Slice the onions, chop the green chillies.
  3. Whisk the eggs with salt and keep aside.
  4. Heat the refined oil preferably in a kadhai, put in the sliced onions and fry till they are light brown in colour, add the peanuts fry for a minute , pour in the whisked eggs and let them scramble.
  5. Now add the bread crumbs and fry for a while, add green peas, keep stirring, add the chopped green chillies and stir in the tomato sauce/ ketchup and add salt to taste.Keep stirring till the mixture becomes dry.
