Ingredients to make Palak Paneer Sunflower Pie

  • Maida - 250 gms
  • Butter 125 gms
  • Mix herbs 1 to 2 tsp
  • Chilly flakes a few
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilled water
  • For Filling:
  • Butter 2 tsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  • Boiled patoto 2
  • Paneer 1/2 cup
  • Boil and blanch palak 1 cup
  • Chilli flakes as per taste
  • Mix herbs 1 to 2 tsp
  • Cheese - 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

How to make Palak Paneer Sunflower Pie

  1. Take a bowl, add maida and chilled butter and mix it well. Add ginger garlic paste, herbs, salt, chilli flakes and little bit of chilled water and make a soft dough.
  2. Keep it in the freezer for ten minutes. Heat a pan, add butter on it, add chopped onions and saute it.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, chilly flakes, potato, paneer and palak. Mix it well, add salt and pepper. Mix it well, when the mixture is cool, add cheese and mix it well.
  4. Divide the dough into two portions, roll the dough with a rolling pin and make a thick sheet. Cut the sheets with any type of sharp thali. Apply same method to the second sheet.
  5. Place one sheet on butter paper apply one full spoon of paneer filling in the center and spread evenly, take second sheet put it on the first one, seal the corners with the help of a fork.
  6. Put a small katori in the middle of the sheet, take a knife and cut the sides in equal portion and fold like a flower petal. Apply some butter wash on the flower and bake for 40 to 45 minute at 180 degree centigrade.
