Bread is filled with potatoes and moong (sabut) dal.

Bread Potato Moong dal Bonda

Ingredients to make Bread Potato Moong dal Bonda

  • Boiled potatoes-2,,,,,,,,
  • chopped onion-1
  • boiled moongsabut dal1small katori,
  • turmeric powder-1/2teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • black pepper poeder-1teaspoon
  • coriander powder-1teaspoon
  • pinch of ajwain
  • Brown or white wheat bread slices - 4
  • water to set the slices slightly
  • oil for frying

How to make Bread Potato Moong dal Bonda

  1. Mash the potatoes already boiled.
  2. Add moong dal, onions, dried spices like salt, pepper, carom seeds, turmeric powder, coriander powder.
  3. Mix all ingredients well.
  4. Take bread slices and wet them with water one by one.
  5. Form a katori shape and fill them with the above mentioned potato and dal mixture, fold to form a roll.
  6. Now deep fry each of them and serve with chutney.
