Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Urad dal 1 cup
  2. Moong dal 1 cup
  3. Rice 3 cup
  4. Jowar 1/4 cup
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water
  7. Cooking oil 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1 CUP MOONG DAL FOR 4 HOURS, DRAIN, ADD TO A MIXER JAR WITH 3 CUPS RICE
  2. ADD 1 CUP SOAKED & DRAINED URAD DAL, 1/4 CUP JOWAR
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE & SOME WATER, BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH
  4. COVER & SET ASIDE TO FERMENT IN A WARM PLACE FOR 6-7 HOURS
  5. THE BATTER HAS FLUFFED UP & IS READY FOR MAKING THE DOSAS
  6. GREASE A HOT TAVA WITH OIL, POUR & SPREAD A LADLE FULL OF BATTER, COVER & COOK ON LOW- MEDIUM HEAT
  7. SPRINKLE 1/2 TSP OIL, FLIP & COOK
  8. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN DONE, SERVE HOT WITH CHUTNEY
