Chicken seekh kebab

Ingredients to make Chicken seekh kebab

  • Chicken 250 gms
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala pwdr 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilly paste1 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Poppy seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame seeds1/2 tsp
  • Almonds 8 - 10
  • Cashews 8 - 10
  • Fresh cream 1 tbsp
  • Curd 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves a fistful
  • Mint leaves a fistful
  • Breadcrumbs 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp + more for basting
  • Brown colour 1/4 tsp

How to make Chicken seekh kebab

  1. Mince the chicken with all the masalas except curd, butter, fresh cream, coriander and mint leaves.
  2. In a bowl mix curd fresh cream and finely chopped leaves.
  3. Add the minced chicken and mix well.
  4. Keep aside for about 1 hour.
  5. Heat the tandoor and put the chicken mix on the skewers and cook till tender.
  6. Baste with butter while cooking.
  7. Serve hot with mint chutney and round cut onions.

My Tip:

Chicken can also be grilled in an oven or even pan fried.
