Birds Nest

Ingredients to make Birds Nest

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 tsp oil
  • oil for frying
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 cabbage chopped
  • 1 tbsp spring onions chopped
  • 1 tsp schezwan sauce
  • salt to taste
  • A pinch of pepper
  • A pinch of garam masala powder
  • A pinch of chat masala powder

How to make Birds Nest

  1. In a bowl add maida, salt, oil and make a dough with the help of warm water. Wrap it up with a muslin cloth and keep aside for 4 hours.
  2. In a pan add oil, fry spring onions, carrot, capsicum, cabbage, salt, pepper, garam masala powder, chat masala powder, coriander (chopped) and mix well till soft. Turn off the gas.
  3. Heat oil for frying. Take a small piece of dough roll out it like roti shape then take a small silver bowl grease it with oil then wrap around it and then deep fry it till crisp. Stuff the already prepared vegetables in it and serve hot.

My Tip:

If you wish you can bake the bowl by giving it a shape.
