ABOUT Cheesy Vegetarian Pizza Muffins RECIPE

Cheesy vegetarian pizza muffins is a simple pizza dish that can be prepared in the oven by using muffins moulds. They look very interesting, simple and yummy. With all the essentials it can be prepared in minimum time, the cheesy pizza muffins make a great snack for all of us, who cannot live without pizza.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida - 1 1/2 cups
  2. Baking powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons
  3. Onion chopped - 4 teaspoons
  4. Capsicum chopped - 4 tablespoons
  5. Salt - 1 teaspoon
  6. Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  7. Egg - 1
  8. Olive oil - 1/3 cup
  9. Pizza or marinara sauce - 1/2 cup
  10. Mozzarella cheese grated - 1/2 cup
  11. Dry herbs - 2 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and fry for few minutes, then add chopped capsicum and fry for a few minutes till they are half cooked .
  3. Sift the flour , salt , sugar and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl and set aside . Gradually add the fry onion and capsicum , oil , marinara sauce and egg combined all the ingredients until well combined .
  4. Ensure not to overbeat the pizza muffins batter .
  5. Grease the muffins mould and spoon the muffins into the mould , place the muffins in the oven to make and bake for 15 minutes .
  6. When the muffins are almost done , remove from the oven and sprinkle the cheese on the top and put it back into the oven , until the cheese melts .
  7. Once the pizza muffins are done, remove from the oven and allow it to cool and enjoy straight away.
