Healthy, quick snack for breakfast or as a light evening meal.

Instant, Whole Wheat Chillas ( Thin Pancakes )

Ingredients to make Instant, Whole Wheat Chillas ( Thin Pancakes )

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped finely
  • salt to taste
  • 1 chopped green chilli, chopped ( Optional )
  • 1 tablespoon green corainder leaves, chopped finely ( Optional )
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Add 2-3 tablespoon of chopped carrots, capsicum etc to spruce up the health quotient ( Optional )
  • water to make a medium consistency batter

How to make Instant, Whole Wheat Chillas ( Thin Pancakes )

  1. Heat a tawa or a non stick pan on slow flame.
  2. Make the batter by mixing atta, water, chopped onion, salt, red chilli powder.
  3. Put 1 teaspoon of oil on the tawa and spread the batter to make thin pancakes like dosa or uttappas.
  4. Cook both the sides till golden brownish. Serve with green mint chutney or tomato ketchup.

add one tbsp oil in the atta before adding water and mix it with your fingers then add water the dosa will turn out crispy
