Ingredients to make Kezhvaragu , murungai keerai Roti / Nachni ( Ragi ) , Drumstick leaves roti

  • 2 cups finger millet flour (ragi flour)
  • 1 cup drumstick leaves chopped
  • 1/4 cup curry leaves & coriander chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Warm water
  • oil
  • salt
  • Things to grind
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 4 garlic pearls
  • 3 piece of coconut

How to make Kezhvaragu , murungai keerai Roti / Nachni ( Ragi ) , Drumstick leaves roti

  1. In a bowl add ragi flour chopped onions ,drumstick leaves , curry leaves ,coriander and salt
  2. Grind the items given under for grinding without water ( just for a second)
  3. Mix the grinded items to the flour
  4. Add warm water and make a soft dough
  5. Heat the griddle n grease it with oil
  6. Take some dough and spread it evenly with wet hand in greased plastic sheet or in a wet cloth with your fingers and transfer it gently to your hands
  7. Place it on the hot griddle and drizzle some oil , make a hole in the center and pour 1/2 tsp of oil
  8. Flip it over and cook it till done and serve hot with chutney or sambar or have it plain with chai .
  9. Repeat the same process for the remaining dough
